diabetes: people with diabetes should consult a doctor before using a sauna.
kidney problems: people with kidney problems should avoid using a sauna.
liver problems: people with liver problems should avoid using a sauna.
skin conditions: people with skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis should avoid using a sauna.
inflammation: people with inflammation, fever, or acute infection should avoid using a sauna.

illness
people who are ill should wait until they recover before using a sauna.
people with the flu or cold should avoid using a sauna.

alcohol
you should avoid using a sauna while under the influence of alcohol.
alcohol can increase the risk of dehydration, arrhythmia, hypotension, and sudden death.

dehydration
the heat and humidity in a sauna can cause you to sweat, leading to dehydration.
you should stay hydrated before and during your sauna session.
